    James has thirty years’ experience in planning, development, compulsory purchase and utility fields. He advises a wide range of clients including farm and estate owners, developers and promoters, housing associations and private homeowners.

    He has represented clients whose properties on a wide range of infrastructures projects including HS1, HS2, new and upgraded sections of the M1, M5, M25 and A1(M), Manchester Airport second runway, Stansted. James has been at forefront of negotiating claims for property devaluation caused by the presence of power lines belonging to National Grid, UK Power Networks, Scottish and Southern Energy and Western Power Distribution.
